Thank you to all the loyal agents who successfully exposed the ring of cultists calling themselves among other things the "Sodality Brotherhood" and the "Sedulous Amalgamation" and who have been tracking the whereabouts of the so-called "folio". As you know, we have been quite busy in the here and now of 2007 converting the massive amounts of data from the future which are coming to us through the Temporal Interface from Deus City, but thanks to you the work is being completed slowly but surely, and every day the ranks of TIA agents swells!

The first blow to their organization has been struck both now and for the future. We now have in our possession two parts of the religious sect's book recovered in an undisclosed location in New Mexico, and have been studying it for clues to their dogma and end-game agenda. In the interest of free knowledge, something which I have always promoted, I have received the go-ahead for declassifying and releasing the contents of these pages for your review. Once again... thank you. At this time the status of other pages including the one for which the below library information seems to point to is unknown, but I am confident that your investigations will soon bear fruit to that end as well!

Once again through your collective thoughts and logical actions you have come through for me and for the future! Today is the day we PROVED that the future can be changed!

I recently received absolute confirmation from a source deep inside the
so-called "Brotherhood" of Deus City that they are indeed promoting the search for something they are calling "The Folio of Nostradamus."

I have been asked why I would even care by some of you. Well the answer is simple: I do not. In fact I hesitate to even post the pictures that I received but for one reason and one reason alone. I want you to see first hand what this rabble-rousing cult of the future is about so that the world can see and know what I know. Brackin - or is that "Brother Theo?" is barking mad, and intends to suck you down with his dogma of inevitability and his "Deus ex Machina!"

Therefore I put it before you. Will you let those who believe the key to the "predestined future" - led by an insane Oedipus Rex - collect this folio and use it to start the terrorist organization known as "The underground" in three decades time? Already fools like the unknown leaders of "The Union" have begun down this path. I SAY IT STOPS AND IT STOPS HERE AND NOW! The iteration of the future which has been handed back through the pages of time must NOT come to pass.

After six rather difficult months of paperwork and personal deliberation regarding my aborted degree, I have decided to finish my education. UTD has allowed me to continue working on the project that we all began last year with such enthusiasm and pioneering scientific endeavoring as a dissertation. I am of course referring to the Time Communication technology which is now the backbone of the Defense-corp 2007 Deus City Project, the empowering sole focus of our corporation which was founded for it, by it, and because of it in such strange new and unusual ways.

Therefore, I was able to successfully complete my Doctoral comprehensive exams this week which I gratefully passed with flying colors, and am quite happy to continue on the track towards the first inter-temporal science theory degree by writing and proposing my dissertation in the coming weeks and months. If all goes well then I will be able to use the unbelievable amount of knowledge and data being transmitted back and forth between 2037 and the present to become Dr. Fujimoto by this time next year.

I thank you all for your support with the project, those of you who have become temporal agents and those of you who are working in other capacities such as Fundi Technologies and the good people there who have worked so valiantly and at such great personal investment for what we all believe to be the greatest challenge mankind has ever received. When JFK challenged America to go to the moon, When FDR challenged America to take back its country from stifling poverty and depression, when the first pioneers went west to settle the great frontier plains, it is the great reminder to us that the future has given us dire warnings of things that might be, and challenged us to make a better world for ourselves.

I do not know the future, but as I watch the world of Deus City open itself to us more and more each day, building our trust and our hope for tomorrow, I see the things that I want to be, and the things I know we must endeavor to change, and I know in my mind that we are the new pioneers, the next great movement of history, and we are making a moon landing look like stroll to the store with the promises of tomorrow and the hard work of each of the FUTURE citizens of the greatest city in the world. For me this journey continues with my own education. Thank you everyone, thank you UT-Dallas for letting me continue my dream.

Temporal Errors

This weekend it seems that strange things have been coming down the feed.

Some of you have already noticed that there were odd database glitches in the system in the last few days. Specifically within the news feeds... It is odd to me that we are once again seeing this error. One - Two - even Three days into the future beyond the set thirty years that we have come to feel comfortable with.

While mildly disconcerting, it is good to know that our temporal safeguards are strong, and even though the inexplicable cascade effect we experienced first allowed us to see messages further ahead than we normally can, it also proved that the temporal error safety features are also working since we evidenced the news feature shut down completely.

A number of theories as to the cause are being considered, including "sun spots", "Inter-temporal static", and "Photonic interference" for the feed... but I'm confident that by comparing our data with that of the previous errors in the early days of the feed, we will find the solution and perhaps even be able to capitalize on it.

I am considering whether it would be to our advantage to push forward this communication glitch in such a way as to be able to read Deus City's news feeds back to them the day before the occur and perhaps even aid in changing their day to day lives?

As of this moment, the interference is past and we have restored the temporal interface to working order. Should any agents find strange glitches such as this, please notify Defense-Corp immediately so that we can assess the phenomenon and make our interface even better.

I have apparently been promoted!

My work as "interim public correspondent" to you following the change of power recently for the Assistant Director in Deus City has been recognized and I am now a "Special Agent" according to the message I received this morning. I wish to thank all of you who have stood by me in these months of progress and I assure you all that this small promotion will not change me or my goals in any way. We are here to change the future and ensure that we are prepared for the coming hardship ahead by laying the foundation for the utopia that is Deus City.

The future IS coming. and we ARE changing it.

My first assignment as "Special Agent" is to collect pictures of TIA recruitment fliers as you send them to me. The instructions are to place them in "high traffic areas". Feel free to send them to me at your leisure over the next few days weeks and months. Attached is a copy of this flier for your convenience.

I am also still taking submissions for the Defensecorp Website Design from those Agents who feel led to take a more active role than just completing their assigned tasks.

I'll see you in the interface

Now that the secure interface Version 2.0 is up, my temporary assignment as "contact" for for our time has been officially taken over by the Assistant Director. I am relieved.

I wish to personally thank those of you who have been loyal to me in these recent days for your level-headedness, patience, and calm logical intercourse, and hope that you will still contact me when you see me in the interface. I too am an active Temporal Agent and wish to learn as much as possible about our city before we come full circle with ourselves.

This will allow me to turn much more of my attention to Defensecorp 2007, and our end of things. I will endeavor to keep you posted on our progress and our status well into the future. The company is in great need of direction right now, we have made the transition from NPO into a For-Profit organization while maintaining many of the company's connections and ties with smaller companies which we are proud to assist such as "Funditech" which you know, based out of my home city of Dallas. We do not even have a real website yet as you may know, but I will happily take design submissions for any agent wishing to earn a few extra credits and my gratitude.

As many of you already know, I am a strong supporter of Science and Truth through Logic, and if you are of like mind then I implore you to become a temporal agent yourself if you are not yet. Help me in my endeavors against those that would corrupt the ideal that is Deus City: The illogical hodgepodge "united" church, the short-sighted "underground", and this rediculous "brotherhood."

I am also on a quest in the here and now of 2007, to find my missing friends for whom I have much fear. I have much to say to both of them.

The Surprising Origins of Defensecorp

I have been going over and over the records of Defensecorp 2007 these last few days and have come across a strange and unexplained fact. I have debated internally whether it is in everyone's best interest for me to share this knowledge, but on that same token I have always felt that knowledge should be free and considering that these facts were true long before I took my current place here at the corporation at the start of the year, it seems the right thing to do. That combined with the possibility (though remote) that someone might come forward with this knowledge before my disclosure of it has convinced me that the moral and ethical choice for me is to publish the truth now before it goes any further.

Defense-Corp was created in 1989 as a worldwide non-profit humanitarian aid organization with access to worldwide resources and locales funded largely by a highly successful industrial manufacturing mega-corporation which opted to remain anonymously absent from nearly every document and legal paper I can find. As you may realize, we are currently in the process of fundamentally restructuring Defensecorp (our DBA) due to a number of factors, not the least of which is that our funding from this very difficult to trace company has been effectively cut off since the end of the calendar year for whatever reason. As a product of this restructure we are now very much a for-profit organization and therefore in many ways nothing that has gone on before matters since it is a simple matter of months before we will be publicly traded and well on our way to becoming the governmental entity we are destined to be in the near future of Deus City - all because of the information sent back by them in the first place.

This aside, however, the question of who originated Defense-Corp in 1989 still lingers, and my investigations have led me to realize that this enigmatic parent company has in fact operated at a loss in order to pump billions into Defense-corp for nearly a decade, floating along through some other unseen financial means. It is unclear to me why this patently illogical business practice was allowed to continue by the board of trustees or the shareholders, but it seems to me that there is more going on here than any of us had previously known. Had we not interceded I do not know what would have become of this company or the future. That said, I have finally managed to uncover a copy of the original documents of formation for Defense-Corp, and while as lengthy as a novel, and ridiculously obtuse throughout it did finally reveal to me the true origin of this company. My company. Deus City's one hope of survival beyond the possible coming events.

On but one page of this now defunct volume does there appear the name of the parent corporation; at the top of a waiver of rights and privileges to some third party which is unnamed for purposes of decision making and internal affairs. It is presumably this group then who have been keeping the business afloat for some reason while channeling their money into the named parent corporation at a loss in order to forward some agenda which I do not understand. At the bottom of the page is a signature. The name of the corporation's founder and C.E.O., and the one to whom the blame must be cast for running his corporation into the ground and selling out to this unnamed group which funded his corporation and it's NPO subsidiary - that is to say Defense-Corp. I want it made clear that I was aware of none of this until very recently.

The name of Defense-Corp's parent corporation was "Wright Industries." The name of the man who signed it all away to an unknown financial backer in 1989 to create the NPO was none other than the late Alexis Wright Sr., President & C.E.O.

Now you understand my dilemma. If any of you have managed to make contact with Alex following the unfortunate events of last month, then PLEASE ask him to contact me about this unforeseen turn of events. I am certain that he does not know these things. My attempts to contact him have gone unanswered.

Hack the Karma

This may amount to nothing more than a temporal experiment of cause and effect, but I have decided to push back against the machine a little bit. If you are like me you may have noticed that your Agent Profile contains something that Deus City is calling "Karma". I'm not sure exactly how this is quantified exactly, but I aim to find out.

I have been poking around with the interface a little bit and I think I have discovered the variables in our profiles which are determining our abilities to navigate the virtual city interface. At the risk of exposing what I am doing to the future with this "historical record" I am going to try to make some minor adjustments to the agent profiles of those who are with me in this belief. You should notice the ability to get around a little easier than before - In effect I have hacked our karma.

I do not know what the long term effects of this will be but I suppose time will tell. I suppose the only question is will I let myself get away with it since I know I'm going to have done it? Or is there more going on than I have the power to let myself know at this time and I have been waiting for me to do this very thing from the start. Let the experiment begin. A Puzzling Dilemma

As many of you know, much of this part of the world is covered in a nice sheet of ice, causing intermittent power and heat. This has of course affected our ability to launch the Temporal Agent Interface by a few hours or possibly days, but rest assured that the future is coming VERY SOON.

Perhaps the most disturbing thing is that the scientists of Deus City did not feel it necessary to warn us about the likelihood, or indeed historical certainty that we would not be able to make our trans-temporal deadline. When I questioned them on this there was no clear answer, but the general consensus seemed to be that the deadline was never set for this weekend in the first place, and that we are right on target after the expected weather delay.

My theory about this is that perhaps something changed the future through our actions, but does the weather really fall into this category? I'm frustrated and confused, but also relieved since they assure me that the new release target will go through as planned with great success. As Dr. Vishnu said, "We can't, because we didn't - therefore we mustn't". I suppose we all still have a lot to learn about the mysteries of time-communication. This promises to be a fascinating year for us all.

A Quick Presidential Progress Report

The Defense-Corp scientists are working around the clock and we are right on schedule with our expected release despite some minor security and temporal congruity issues. It seems that there are some minor errors in the temporal logs, but they seem to be originating from Deus City rather than the here and now, so we are enacting some new security protocols to compensate. Hopefully these odd security breaches will not be a problem for our agents when the interface software goes live and the temporal assignments are posted late this week.

On another note, January 7, 2007 during one of our ongoing emergency board meetings to effect change in the company - the motion passed to adopt the name "Defensecorp" as an official DBA of "Defense-Corp, Inc". As to inquiries of why this change was necessary, I say simply that it is time to move forward with the new company policies. It is because the future is coming - we changed it.

Alex Wright has taken his leave of me. His anger is somewhat justified I admit, but his petty inability to sit and discuss matters has strong-armed me into taking matters into my own hands as needs be. You should know that effective January 1, 2007 I am now the majority share holder of Defense-corp, a philanthropic world charity organization which specializes in providing small companies with large contracts that has maintained a low profile until the odd recent events - which have unfortunately been mis-percieved by many, including myself. Representatives from the future are now working closely with my people to create a new temporal interface through which you can better receive your temporal investigator assignments - Which as I understand it represents a rather significant backlog of assignments from the city, which are being redirected to the Deus City "Temporal Intelligence Agency". We have a target date in the near future for launch of this new interface, those of you who are registered as Temporal Agents will be hearing from us when it is ready. Those who may be interested in joining this elite group of agents should submit a virtual application through the established means for psychological screening.

The following is how all of this came to pass:

Upon recovery of the temporal feed on Christmas Day, 2006 we immediately began receiving the FULL and UNFILTERED transmissions once again from our future selves in DEUS CITY of 2036, once they were able to glean from their historical records that it was safe once again to transmit. Included in this first transmission was the legal information I needed to stake a RIGHTFUL and LEGAL claim of ownership on Defense-corp and its holdings. While the transmission made no mention of Alexis Wright or his rights and future assets, I assured him that once everything was ironed out from the legal perspective, that he would be compensated fully for his help - without which none of this would have been possible. Unfortunately he declined and has instead turned his attentions presumably to his own Wright Industries, which following his father's death is now in need of much attention and governance. I wish him well and hope that our two organizations will have a longstanding mutually symbiotic relationship long into the future. Time will tell.

As long as the "thank you" list is being written I must also thank the enigmatic "Brother Theo". His misguided efforts and blind faith allowed us to track both his movements and his destination. without him we might never have found the inner-Mexico facility where Phillip Moore was being detained since mid-November following his unfortunate and premature decisions regarding the company. Unfortunately I have no information regarding the whereabouts of Phil at this time, but I have hired a private investigator to track his last known movements, if either happens to contact you, please cooperate to the fullest and let us know. Of course none of this information would have been available to us if not for you, our loyal temporal agents. Thank you for your hard investigative work and problem-solving efforts.

Phil is in trouble!

Alex is certain that this proves Phil's cowardice, I am not so certain. It is unclear to me what his intentions and motives were for hiding the video these two months, but it seems that he has now seen fit to embrace the correct philosophy of free-knowledge and truth in Science and Technology. I am somewhat concerned for his wellbeing, but feel inspired by his willingness to risk his life to pass on the file to us. It is now more important than ever that we find the location of this installation that we can retreive our people and put a stop to this Defense-corp before it is too late.

A call for support.

As you may have inferred, the feed is essentially useless to us now as anything more than a database mirror. The modern-day Defense-corp has seen through our little hack and is in direct control of what we are getting. Alex and I have a plan. We are now preparing to move on the location where Moore and Brackin are being held, but we are still unsure where that is. A number of clues exist and we are working night and day to uncover their veil of secrecy and crack the secret of their location! I ask you all for help.

You ask our goals? They are simple: to take down Defense-corp by any legal and appropriate means, to return the feed to its rightful owners and to make possible once again our agenda of free knowledge in the name of science and truth. This is what we know from Phil:

I don't know how much time I have before they come back! Yesterdaay morning the helicopter woke me up again and got curious, then lucky. Or maybe unlucky, I'm not sure anymore. Help us. We believe that if enough agents pledge to science and truth that we can tip the balance of Defense-corp! Why not round up all your friends, have them take the farce of a test that the corporation has put into place, and then use their credentials against them? I'm discovering that the effects of our actions are already causing wildly erratic effects in my hacked database copy! Essentially when the new data is updated on the daily burst, those who have taken a public stand are changing future history and their own lives are being effected! It is fascinating and wonderful! Best case: We change the future! - worst case: A lot of people are improving their own future lives and the database of Defense-corp is taking the hit! We have been unable to find out much about this modern Defense-corp, but we have enough to make our strike as soon as we can pinpoint the location - Alex tells me the tipping point is soon. An update

All has been quiet. I feel that my hiding place is secure as I have been tracking the movements of our known opposition at his thinly veiled nostredame.blogspot.com website. Coincidentally by spelling out the locations he described I feel confident that we now know his state of mind. While I never felt much need to even mention him, I feel it is important to let those of you reading this know that he has been moving consistently further away from my location and that the feed is in absolutely no danger.

That said, there seems to be a lull in the information that is coming down daily. It has been strangely quiet, and in fact I am beginning to wonder if they are receiving my daily reports. It is almost as if they know that anything they send will not arrive and so the simply aren't trying. No corrupt data, no communications - just data transference and the occasional Internet spider. I've tracked many of these spiders and am now convinced they are nothing more than a side effect of the data retrieval program which allows them to see our responses to their communications.

I've had the luxury of nearly six weeks of analysis now, and I can tell you a number of things for certain. Our original time communication theory was in error, and it appears that it has nothing to do with lasers in reality. As far as I can tell, our experiment ripped a hole in space-time and a stable sol-orbiting wormhole has been established which is allowing us to communicate daily when we line up with roughly the same time (I'm beginning to notice the microsecond difference) as when the experiment was first conducted. What I don't understand, is why Defensecorp isn't giving us more instructions on how to improve the link or to simply use a European Receiver or even a sattelite to communicate 24-7. It seems like that should work!

I'm starting to become suspicious that there is more going on than they would have me believe. All that remains logically is to wait and see until another solution presents itself.

An odd transmission

I'm posting this seemingly ordinary transmission - similar to all of the other daily feed intro vids because something caught my eye about it. I don't know if it means anything but I guess we will know tomorrow. Coincidentally it took literally 12 hours to decrypt it (usually it's instantaneous), and it was by chance that I even watched it twice and noticed the oddity, especially considering what happened last time.

Many of you already know that imbedded in the transmission on 11-11 was a second one for me and me alone. The proof: "President" Fujimoto used my real name: Mustafa Tang. I have since changed my name because for the first few weeks it was not safe. I am now hidden safely, where even Brackin can not find me, so as Pam has shown me, there are those who have not seen and heard this transmission... and as I have always said: Information should be free to all.

As to the question of trust: I need at least a week to finish what I've started, but some of you may have noticed that the password has been disabled on hackthefeed. I'm discovering how to overcome some of the barriers that defensecorp put in place, and feel that it is better that way. I excluded that little detail from my daily report and am waiting to see if they notice... so far they haven't. I'm tired of waiting for them to "process" us. I'm beginning to be a little weary of corporate politics, science and technology must be free for all, not put into a corporate box with a logo slapped on. The project was taken away from us for that very reason - but we hacked the feed. If needs be we will do it again.

Technical Difficulties

Something has gone horribly wrong with today's transmission. Unexpected interference from an unknown source has corrupted the link and affected some of my data values. I'm working on it, please be patient. I'll let you know what I can when I am able to. Those of you who can may wish to log onto the feed and confirm that your corporate data has not been effected.

EDIT:
I have analyzed the last 36 hours worth of data and somehow everything on my secure servers has been doubled. I don't know why or even how it is possible, but even stranger than that are the small inconsistencies in the data between the two. It's almost as if the same transmission - today's transmission - were sent twice yet with subtle changes. The Lead-in video was corrupt for example. I'm theorizing that there must have been some sun-spots or space radiation that caused the effect, unless somehow yesterday's database errors caused us to somehow receive the transmission early?

That would of course be impossible as the transmissions have been coming precisely 30 years back to us. The oddest thing about it is the time stamp on yesterday's transmission from Dr. Vishnu - something that slipped by me until you pointed it out! According to the computer and the file itself, it appears to have been sent from today's date - meaning that if it WAS sent this morning at 11:11 Deus City Time, then somehow the transmission jumped a day further back and we received it a day earlier than we were supposed to. It took me all day yesterday to find it embedded in the transmission - could it have been an echo from today's transmission? If so why was the transmission changed?

If we can figure out how exactly all of this occurred - then might we be able to open up portals to other dates? I have written all of this up in my documentation and have put it into tomorrow's burst for their review. Perhaps then we can have some answers.

My apologies to all that this was not up at the time of transmission, it would seem that there was a small problem with my radiation noise filters today. It took me literally all day to sort it out. Not being anywhere near my old computer made it all the more difficult, however it turns out it was just some photonic interference. Cross referencing the data stream logs turned up nothing, so other than the delay, no harm done. Less than 9 hours till the next burst. Hopefully I have fixed the issue and there will be no more problems.

Celebrate Victory with me!

It seems we have been victorious! The stream is coming strong and regularly every day. Our numbers grow larger and as the data installs itself onto our server the possibility of outside intrusion into our proprietary network seems less and less probable. Today's pre-burst communication was simple: "Well Done. Congratulations. You have done well". It seems that the others who opposed us have cowered back into the shadows in fear of knowledge and truth and as the gateway is opened to more and more who are volunteering for processing by the City, we grow stronger and victory seems unevitable.

Stay tuned into this site, for as the messages come so will I give them over to you. All information will be shared and free - that which was secret shall become known to all. It is because of you that we have been successfull in these first stages of the new world we are building together. The future is coming.
